Narrative
Sir Patrick Blake, 1st Bt. was born circa 1730 [another opinion has it around 1742]. He was the son of Andrew Blake and Marcella French. He married Annabella Bunbury, daughter of Reverend Sir William Bunbury, 5th Bt. and Eleanor Graham, circa 1765. He and Annabella Bunbury were divorced in April 1773 by Act of Parliament. He died on 1 July 1784. His will (dated 3 June 1784) was probated on 24 July 1784. Sir Patrick Blake, 1st Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sudbury between 1768 and 1784. He was created 1st Baronet Blake, of Langham, co. Suffolk [Great Britain] on 8 October 1772. He lived in Langham Hall, Suffolk, England.
